<h5>Education</h5>

<p>Mr. Arimura received a Master's Degree in Precision Engineering from Hokkaido University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Precision Engineering from Hokkaido University.</p>

<h5>Professional Experience</h5>

<h6>1.Research and Development (1970-1989)</h6>
<p>After Mr. Arimura joined NTT in 1970, he developed facsimile equipment and the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), and engaged in the system engineering of future telecommunication networks.</p>

<h6>2.International Business (1989-2004)</h6>
<p> 	While Mr. Arimura was posted at the International Affairs Department of NTT from 1989 to 1992, he oversaw NTT's participation in large overseas exhibitions such as TELECOM, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and CeBIT, the largest ICT exhibition in the world. From 1992 to 1994, he was engaged in the overseas engineering of telecommunications systems. He also contributed to the establishment of international businesses in his capacity as Associate Vice President of NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (NTT-AT).
From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Arimura was in charge of supporting overseas companies and fostering business matches with Japanese partners. During this period, he served as coordinator of the Techno Business Forum 2003 / 2004 and the 13th Invest in Japan Study Program (IJSP) of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).</p>

<h6>3.Sales Promotion and Marketing (1994 -2005)</h6>
<p>While Mr. Arimura was Associate Vice President of NTT-AT, he also served as Executive Manager of the PR and Advertising Department. In this capacity, Mr. Arimura helped to nurture NTT-AT into a high-profile corporation.</p>]]>
